IS-95 CDMA Adjacent Channel Power

Previously not available, the IS-95 adjacent channel power measurement will provide better than 1 dB measurement accuracy at offsets up to 3 MHz. This feature provides a new simplified method for making adjacent channel power measurements with a guaranteed specification limit. This feature enables you to test base stations to meet the regulatory requirements for adjacent channel power. Additionally, you will also be able to make channel power measurements at the IF frequency of 4.95 MHz with the same accuracy.

1.4 GHz Spectrum Analyzer Frequency Extension

1.4 GHz Spectrum analyzer frequency extension allows you to monitor intermittent/interfering signals at GPS frequencies with the spectrum analyzer. Service providers have found that spectral clearing at GPS frequencies is imperative to CDMA system timing and ultimately network interoperability. Monitoring and spectral clearing at GPS frequencies can help prevent the "island cell effect."

Improved Spectrum Analyzer Delta Markers

Spectrum analyzer delta markers provide delta markers used for making relative level measurements at offset frequencies. In this mode, a second (reference) marker is placed at the location of the original marker. The first marker becomes a moveable delta marker that provides information as to the difference in frequency and level between it and the reference marker.

The spectrum analyzer mask provides you with the ability to completely build a custom mask which simplifies spectral containment measurements. The spectrum analyzer mask consists of two adjustable limit lines. When the mask is utilized, the E6380A continuously monitors the signal spectrum with respect to the user assignable limits and indicates a failure when the spectrum exceeds these limits.
